Make sure you reset your skills at level 56 though because you will need skill points for your awakening skills and will only really need the support skills from pre-awakening. If you’ve just reached level 50 or you’re still leveling, use this build to put you in the right direction of what skills you should be using. Pre-Awakening skill build – Level 55 (549 skill points): In each section of the guide you can find additional information about succession skills. Like most other classes, low end PVE awakening will perform better but succession takes the lead in end game spots.
In large scale PVP, Musa succession offers better damage and more protection on their skills, but may have issues with stamina management. The skills lack some CC but deal more damage overall. Succession is considered better in 1v1 scenarios against a few matchups, especially players with heavy DP builds. This is because only 30% of your Awakening AP is applied to the damage of Succession skills, as well as the additional item stats, such as Human/Species Damage and Accuracy. You can get away with using a Green/Blue grade TRI Ultimate weapon without losing too much damage. Your awakening weapon still effects your succession damage but is not as much of a priority. This will give you a totally seperate skill tree that enhances your main hand skills and only has a few awakening skills. Musa Succession can be unlocked after level 56 after speaking to the Black Spirit and completing the Succession quest under the suggestions tab.
Lahn – Lahn has a lot of protected mobility and also a long ranged grab which makes the class hard to deal with. If a Valkyrie uses their suck skill, you can try to spam your dash to avoid getting CC’d. You can also make use of your block and then Retaliation/ Counter Assassination, which will knockdown your target if successful. Look to CC them at the end of their skills because they don’t have lingering protection and can easily be caught out if you know when to attack. When fighting against a Valkyrie you should try to go in and out of the fight and not trade damage, just chip away at their block. The also have their “suck/vacuum” skill ( Wave of Light) which they will try to catch you in. Valkyrie – Valkyries can also use block and then walk towards you and try to grab you. They can then use their Solar Flair and grab when they notice a good opportunity to enage. Warrior – Warriors will usually stay in their block and can be hard to deal with. Movement speed and attack speed debuffs are also very effective against Musas because their mobility is a very important part of the class.īelow are some classes that Musa particularly struggles with: That being said, Musa struggles against grab classes since they rely on their super armor dash a lot in PVP and a grab will go through this and usually result in their death. Higher skilled players will learn when enemies have openings in their skills and learn to react to their opponents to make use of this in a fight. 
Musa is a dash class that can pick their fights and when to engage.
More reliant on gearscore than other classes. You can use your Q block in pre-awakening to allow it to regen safely. They also have some stamina issues/management in PVP and you will need to make sure you don’t spam your dash too much. They are more gear dependant than other classes for PVP, and need to get to the higher AP brackets to really shine, as well as being a very squishy class. The class is fast paced, with high burst and one-combo potential, but is a difficult class to master. The class is the male counterpart of the Maehwa class, which almost has the same pre-awakening skill set and has a different awakening. At level 56, Musa unlocks their awakening weapon which is a Crescent Blade. The Musa class uses a Blade as their primary weapon and Horn Bow as their secondary weapon. The class discords are a great place to start, most have their own guides and resources as well as plenty of skilled players willing to help with questions. You should really adapt the guide and follow your own instincts to match your play-style! I also highly recommend looking at as many different sources as possible and gathering as much information as you can about your class before deciding what is best for you and how you play. Remember that class guides are a rough explanation of the class, designed to give you an idea of the class and what you should be aiming for.
